- Plans, directs and controls the resources and efforts of teams to accomplish the objectives of TriZetto Provider Solutions and the IT organization.
- Provides leadership in motivating subordinates to accomplish TriZetto Provider Solutions' goals and objectives.
- Reports delivery team status and progress to IT senior management.
- Ensures accuracy and timeliness of output and deliverables for assigned area.
- Develops associates so they can achieve their career goals.
- Assists in the reviews, disciplinary actions, and orientation of assigned team members.
Team Lead, Software Engineer “Gets It Done” by:
- Manages resources effectively and efficiently to support Gateway EDI’s operational needs and strategic initiatives.
- Develops a strong team through training and effective organizational development practices.
- Implements the policies, practices, and procedures within the organization.
- Establishes relationships with business users.
- Hires qualified staff for assigned areas and functions.
- Ensures that the appropriate requirement and design activities are performed by the members of the delivery team.
- Ensures that deployment scripts are produced and maintained by the delivery team.
- Ensures that the delivery team members follow established software development methodology, guidelines and standards.
- Gives technical direction to the delivery team when needed.
- Helps to remove roadblocks and resolve issues as they arise.
Team Lead, Software Engineer is able to “Get It Done” because he or she has the following qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in software product development
- Desired: 2 or 4 year degree in computer science, MIS, or software engineering
- 2 - 5 years technical supervisory experience
- 1 - 3 years experience managing / supervising in an Agile environment
