Software Engineer Lead
Analyzing, designing, programming and testing TriZetto software programs and applications. Working closely with Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, deliver and maintain applications and software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrating expert proficiency using appropriate tools, platforms, languages, and application programs utilizing expert knowledge of TriZetto (or third party) products appropriate to the department.
- Utilizing and sharing a high level of industry expertise (e.g., healthcare, IT, etc.), understanding of the business unit (e.g., application support, code development, etc.) and the Company's business (i.e. hosting, application development, etc.).
- Assuming a leadership role in application design and code reviews processes.
- Recommending and validating improvements in procedures as well as solutions for automating manual procedures.
- Taking ownership of product features or related application and system components.
- Creating processes which facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration as well as acting as a technical resource for troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of seven years' related experience. Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate organizational abilities.
- Limited travel.
- Extensive experience with Install shield,
- Experience with C#,
- Experience with .NET Framework,
- Experience with Windows Installer,
- Experience with testing procedures,
- Experience with Deployment experience around automation of deployments,
- Extensive experience IIS,
- Enterprise Server platforms,
- Experience with Visual Studio,
- scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript, MSBuild, MS Web Deploy, InstallShield)
Additionally, the lead will work within an agile environment and will work in supporting
- existing installers,
- installer enhancements,
- build systems (TFS),
- New installers. The New installers will be required to support multiple upgrade paths, need to be written while keeping corporate standards in mind.
- Automation of deployments - will improve our testing time, automation speeds, and system up-time within development.
