Summary:

The Software Engineering's role is to analyze, design, program and test computer software programs and applications. Works closely with Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language syntax and sequencing skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, the Lead delivers and maintains application and system software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

- Demonstrates expert proficiency using appropriate tools, platforms, languages, and application programs; proficient knowledge of TriZetto (or third party) products appropriate to department; and basic knowledge of environmental management.
- Possesses high level industry expertise (i.e. healthcare, IT, etc.), understanding of the Business Unit (i.e. application support, code development, etc.) and Company's business (i.e. hosting, application development, etc.).
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle best practices including QI and code review processes; including unit testing, process knowledge, SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
- In depth knowledge of product architecture and in depth understanding of underlying technologies and software development utilizing C++, .Net, C#, T-SQL and has experience working with SOAP, Rest, HTML and CSS.
- Experience desired working with MS SQL Server, Sybase and/or Oracle DBMS.

Qualifications:

- Requires Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 5 years to 7 years of related work experience. Software development experience that includes C++, .Net, C#, T-SQL, XML, Rest services and/or HealthPlan domain industry expertise.
