Senior Software Engineer “Makes a Difference” by:
The Senior .NET developer’s role is to analyze, design, program and test computer software programs and applications. Works closely with Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language syntax and sequencing skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, the Senior Software Engineer delivers and maintains application and system software, providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.
Senior Software Engineer “Gets It Done” by:
•Possesses strong knowledge of the software development life cycle best practices including QI and code review processes; including unit testing and process knowledge.
•Strong working knowledge of C#, VB, ASP.NET, TFS, OOP/OOAD, XML, HTML, Entity Framework, WCF, WPF, MVC, Angular JS , HTML5.
•Leads application design, upgrades and/or implementations, code reviews and quality inspection processes. Recommends changes in procedures and automates manual procedures.
•Demonstrates strong problem solving and technical analysis skills. Participates in defect triage, impact analysis, resolution planning and implementation. Leads small to medium size projects and project teams. Adapt to and work within different development environments. Assume ownership of product features and or related application and system components. Communicate system functionality and topology in design pattern terminology.
•Creates or improves processes which facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration. Serves as a mentor for junior level team members. Mentoring activities include detailed design and coding review and acts as a technical resource for troubleshooting and solving technical issues. Develops junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work .
•Possesses strong knowledge Test Driven Development (TDD) , Design Patterns , IOC devlopment and concepts of refactoring.
•Hands on experience using SSIS , SSRS and good SQL performance tuning skills. Good understanding of RDBMS.
Senior Software Engineer is able to “Get It Done” because he or she has the following qualifications:
•Requires Bachelor's degree
•Minimum of 5 to 7 years of related work experience
•5+ years of software development experience, utilizing the .NET framework
•Advanced knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, WCF, WPF, CSS, HTML, MVC, OOP/OOAD
•Extensive experience working with .NET framework 3.5 & 4.0, TFS, SQL, Visual Studio
•Good knowledge of XML/XSL and EDI.
•Experience working with back-end component development, including window services, web services and console applications
Plus:
•Healthcare industry knowledge/experience is a plus.
•Knowledge on EDI and 837 HIPAA transactions is huge plus.
