A Senior Software Engineer “Makes a Difference” by:
- Analyzing, designing, programming and testing computer software programs and applications.
- Working closely with Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems.
- Using strong logic, computer language syntax and sequencing skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, the Senior delivers and maintains application and system software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.
A Senior Software Engineer “Gets It Done Right” by:
- Demonstrating expert proficiency using appropriate tools, platforms, languages, and application programs; proficient knowledge of TriZetto (or third party) products appropriate to department; and basic knowledge of environmental management.
- Possessing high level industry expertise (i.e. healthcare, IT, etc.), understanding of the Business Unit (i.e. application support, code development, etc.) and Company's business (i.e. hosting, application development, etc.).
- Possessing strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle best practices including code review processes; including unit testing and process knowledge.
- Having in depth knowledge of software development utilizing C#, VB6, and has experience working with HTML and CSS.
- Working knowledge of FoxPro is a plus.
- Experienced in building web applications as well as desktop applications, middle tier web services, and database stored procedures required.
- Experienced in leading and training junior developers in an on-shore / off-shore model is required.
A Senior Software Engineer is able to “Get It Done Right” because he or she has the following qualifications:
- Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years to 7 years of related work experience. Software development experience that includes C# and/or domain HealthPlan industry expertise.
