A Senior Software Engineer “Gets It Done” by having:
- Extensive experience developing with VB.NET and C#
- Extensive experience developing applications using a relational database; SQL Server strongly preferred.
- Experience writing and consuming web services; WCF strongly preferred.
- Experience doing object oriented analysis and design.
- Experience writing unit tests.
- Experience working with X12 transactions -.
- Experience working on high volume transactions systems.
- Familiarity with automated unit testing technology and test driven development.
- Experience working in an Agile development methodology.
- Ability to learn and adjust to a fast-paced environment; is open to change; able to apply best practices when looking for solutions
- Ability to keep abreast of new technology, process and/or products.
- Customer focused and committed to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
A Senior Software Engineer is able to “Get It Done” because he or she has the following qualifications:
- Minimim 5 to 7+ years software development experience.
- AS or BS in Computer Science, MIS, software engineering, mathematics or related field.
- .NET, C#/VB.NET and SQL Server database development
- ASP.NET, AJAX, JQuery are a plus.
