A Senior Software Architect/Lead Developer “Makes a Difference” by:
Looking for ways to give our customers a competitive advantage through functionality, technology and domain specific expertise. The QNXT Engineering team strives to improve the foundation of the QNXT software through continuous improvement in frameworks, technology upgrades and tools.
A Software Architect/Lead Developer “Gets It Done” by:
- Analyzing, designing, coding and testing QNXT software applications in an Agile Scrum method based environment.
- Having responsibility for transforming QNXT into a new user experience that exercises highly configurable and complex functionality that is testable, maintainable and scalable by engineering proper patterns, technologies and development best practices.
- Evaluating and implementing models, libraries and frameworks that promote separation of concerns, platform independence, ease of integration, business service reuse and a secure application.
- Communicating and transferring knowledge to the Engineering community and working in a collaborative, peer programming environment.
- Working closely with QNXT team members such as Desigers, Business Analysts, Engineers, other Architects, Testers in a collabortive environment.
- Leveraging analytical and softeware development skills to deliver QNXT software solutions to our customers.
A Senior Software Architect Lead Developer is able to “Get It Done” because he or she has the following qualifications:
- 5+ years experience coding and designing with Object Oriented Programming techniques.
- 5+ years experience with .NET framework and technologies, C# (some experience with VB.Net a plus).
- 5+ years Strong understanding of N-Tier design concepts and design patterns
- Experience with Domain Driven Design
- Experience with Dependency Injection
- Solid experience in Web Services development experience (WebAPI, RESTful, JSON, SOAP, WCF, SOAP); SOA Architecture principles and design patterns like CQRS
- Experience with Entity Framework, Linq
- Experience with MS SQL Server, relational database practices and has the ability to design optimized data schemas, stored procedures and queries.
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Experience with distributed and load balanced systems a plus
- Experience with code/file repository tools with an emphasis on TFS
- Strong knowledge of varied software implementation practices with an emphasis on Agile methodologies (scrum, kanban, lean, peer programming, etc)
- Experience practicing Test Driven Development using frameworks/tools such as MSTest, NUnit, Fitnesse, etc.
- Practical knowledge of the test first approach and the testability of software (characterization, unit test, penetration, continuous integration, etc) including refactoring legacy code for testability (mocks, fakes, shims, etc)
- Must be team and goal oriented, accountable to self and team, has a passion to learn new business, software and process concepts.
- Collaboration with cross functional project teams that includes, UX Designers, Business Analysts, QA, Application and Technology Engineers to translate business and technical needs into working software solutions
- Experience directing, training and reviewing work with peer group
- Must be an enthusiastic and positive individual who is open to sharing new ideas in a constructive and innovative environment
- Experience in Healthcare or Health Insurance industry preferred.
- Web Development experience a plus:
