Software Engineer “Makes a Difference” by:
The Software Engineer's role is to analyze, design, program and test computer software programs and applications. Works closely with Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language syntax and sequencing skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, the Software Engineer delivers and maintains application and system software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.
Software Engineer "Gets It Done” by:
- Demonstrating expert proficiency using appropriate tools, platforms, languages, and application programs; proficient knowledge of TriZetto (or third party) products appropriate to department; and basic knowledge of environmental management.
- Possessing strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle best practices including CI, AUT and code review processes; experience in a SCRUM environment preferred.
- Possessing in-depth knowledge of software development utilizing .J2EE standards and Java components, Websphere and/or Tomcat, and has experience working with HTML and CSS.
Software Engineer is able to “Get It Done” because he or she has the following qualifications:
- Requires Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience
- Software development experience that includes J2EE, Java, XML, Java application server environments (WebSphere, Tomcat) and/or domain HealthPlan industry expertise.
