Software Engineer Senior:

Analyzing, designing, programming and testing TriZetto software programs and applications. Working closely with Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, deliver and maintain applications and software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities include:

- Hands on leading by examples and contributing to software.
- Assist in maintenances and upgrades of existing software applications.
- Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.
- Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure to deliver high-quality products.
- Provide trainings and mentor other Engineers when required.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues in a timely fashion.
- Develop most effective technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks within deadlines.
- Assist in R&D activities, risk assessment and mitigation activities.
- Attend team meetings to communicate technical project status and discuss about new ideas and any issues.
- Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity.
- Make business presentations to management when needed.
- Work with QA team in preparing test cases, plans and procedures.

Required skills:

- Participate in all aspects of software development process including architecture, application design, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Strong experience creating and maintaining software applications using .NET C# and Visual Studio
- Deep knowledge of web technologies: HTML, Java Scripts, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular JS
- Deep knowledge of Server technologies: .NET, TPL, Entity Framework, WCF, Web API
- Deep knowledge of Database technologies: SQL, Stored Procedure, Indexing, SSRS, SSIS.
- Follow guidelines of Object Oriented Programming practices and design patterns
- Document and maintaining documentation related to application features and workflow
- Support deliverables by resolving related issues promptly
- Team-oriented. Active participant in Agile development process
- Partner with and mentor other Software Engineers throughout assignments as necessary
- Solid understanding of SaaS, SOA, Multi Tenancy, Object Oriented Programming techniques, Web Services, Design Patterns, etc.
- Prior experience designing and implementing advanced N-Tier enterprise applications designed for commercial use
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and good presentation skills
