Summary:
Primary responsibilities include managing a small development team of software engineers and QA Engineers. Oversee analysis, design, programming and testing tasks for a key TriZetto software integrated within multiple applications. Working in an agile manner the Team Lead works closely with all disciplines of the SLDC to ensure successful delivery of new software releases. Oversees and manages the delivery of expert support for defect resolution delivering to both internal and external customers.
Responsabilities Include:
- Demonstrating expert proficiency using appropriate tools, platforms, languages, and application programs utilizing proficient knowledge of TriZetto (or third party) products appropriate to the department.
- Utilizing and sharing high level industry expertise (e.g., healthcare, IT, etc.), understanding of the business unit (e.g., application support, code development, etc.) and the company's business (e.g., hosting, application development, etc.).
- Leading application design and code reviews processes.
- Recommending improvements in procedures as well as solutions for automating manual procedures.
- Creating processes which facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration, as well as acting as a technical resource for subordinates to assist in troubleshooting and solving complex technical issues.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
- Expertese in the following:
- Java
- Jscript
- MS Sql Server,
- Working knowlege of:
- Tomcat “TOMEE”
- Team Foundation Server
- Minimum of six years' related experience to include at least one year in a management or leadership role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with commecial software development and delivery a plus
- Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Limited travel.
