Summary:
- We are looking for a team member who is a strong Software Engineer with design and architectural vision. Keeping in mind TriZetto's direction for high quality software, the candidate is required to have high standards in software development.
- A background in healthcare and/or Medicare is a big plus. Candidate will need to be a self-starter, who can initiate discussion and be productive and proactive without direction on tasks. High analytical ability, passion for software & technology are key attributes to succeed in this role.
- Developer will be responsible for maintenance, support and new development of current Enterprise Applications using Microsoft .NET web technologies and will assist in architectural design, development and testing. Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff is a must, as developer will be working in agile teams.
Responsibilities
- Work close with software Architect
- Work as part of scrum team.
- Provide technical guidance in software design and development activities.
- Assist in maintenances and upgrades of existing software applications.
- Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.
- Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure to deliver high-quality products.
- Provide trainings and mentor other Engineers when required.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues in a timely fashion.
- Develop most effective technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks within deadlines.
- Assist in R&D activities, risk assessment and mitigation activities.
- Attend team meetings to communicate technical project status and discuss about new ideas and any issues.
- Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity.
- Make business presentations to management when needed.
- Work with QA team in preparing test cases, plans and procedures.
Required:
- Good knowledge about various web vulnerabilities and it’s remediation
- Deep knowledge about various NFR (performance, scalability, availability, localizations, etc.).
- Participate in all aspects of software development process including architecture, application design, implementation, testing, and deployment
- Strong experience creating and maintaining software applications using .NET C# and Visual Studio
- Strong experience with debugging technologies, e.g. winDbg
- Strong experience with ETL process.
- Deep knowledge of following technologies: HTML5, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Angular js, CSS, Visual studio, TFS, SSIS, SSRS.
- Strong experience creating and maintaining SQL databases.
- Follow guidelines of Object Oriented Programming practices and design patterns
- Document and maintaining documentation related to application features and workflow
- Support deliverables by resolving related issues promptly
- Team-oriented. Active participant in Agile development process
- Partner with and mentor other Software Engineers throughout assignments as necessary
- Expertise in web development technologies
- Solid understanding of SaaS, SOA, Multi Tenancy, Object Oriented Programming techniques, Web Services, Design Patterns, etc.
- Prior experience designing and implementing advanced N-Tier enterprise applications designed for commercial use
