.Net Software Engineer

Software Engineer role:

The Software Engineering's role is to analyze, design, program and test enterprise computer software programs and applications that process intricate healthcare insurance transactions. In an Agile style he/she works closely with all disciplines of the SDLC (Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support and Delivery) to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems.

Using strong logic, computer language syntax and sequencing skills, combined with practical experiences the Software Engineer contributes to the development of complex applications and software providing comprehensive enterprise business solutions.

Software Engineer requirements & qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
- 5+ years of .NET development with a focus on high volume application development
- Strong knowledge of in C#, MS SQL Server, Jscript
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts
- Proficient understanding of service and web development concepts
- XML, XSD, ReST, WCF

- Basic understanding of:
- Visual Studio 2010/2012
- SQL Server Management Studio
- TFS or equivalent source systems

- Proficient in the following development and testing techniques:
- Continuous Integration/Delivery
- Unit testing, NUnit/MSTest/mbUnit
- Test Driven Development (TDD)

- Is and effective and efficient communicator both verbally and written
