Team Lead, Software Engineering “Makes a Difference” by: analyzing, designing, programming and testing TriZetto software programs and applications. Works closely with Product Design, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance and Customer Support to assess, enhance, maintain and support software solutions to business problems. Using strong logic, computer language skills, combined with healthcare industry and practical knowledge, deliver and maintain applications and software providing comprehensive business solutions to the healthcare industry. Manages team leads and/or multiple software engineers.

Team Lead, Software Engineering “Gets It Done” by:

- Demonstrating expert proficiency using appropriate tools, platforms, languages, and application programs; proficient knowledge of TriZetto (or third party) products appropriate to department.
- Ability to perform hands on coding as needed to assist team meet deliveribles.
- Utilizing and sharing high level industry expertise (i.e. healthcare, IT, etc.), understanding of the Business Unit (i.e. application support, code development, etc.) and Company's business (i.e. hosting, application development, etc.).
- Developing and implementing improved department-wide application design, code reviews processes.
- Validating and implementing (when appropriate) changes in departmental procedures as well as solutions for automating manual procedures.
- Championing and implementing departmental processes which facilitate collaboration, as well as acting as a resource for subordinate leaders to assist in troubleshooting and solving complex technical and/or associate issues.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and laws. May require interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance via the KPMS; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems as well as creating or improving processes which facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
- Strong desire to move from a development individual contributor role to a supervisory role in time.

Individual is able to “Get It Done” with the following qualifications:

- BS/MS in computer science or relevant business programming experience considered for a strong candidate.
- Experience in a service oriented software development working in a UNIX environment including a comfort level with Java, SQL (Oracle), PHP and shell scripting.
- At least 8 years of related work experience
- Experience working with offshore development teams.
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Healthcare industry a plus.
- The position is located in Oklahoma City, OK.
- Limited travel.
