Position Overview: TriZetto is a leading software solutions provider to the healthcare insurance industry. The Trizetto QNXT Core system is a flagship healthcare insurance payer product.The Software Engineer will be a member of the TriZett T3 QNXT development community assigned to the critcal Member Team. The QNXT Membership software provides vital functionality for our clients such as benefit enrollment and drives our product competitive advantage in the healthcare industry.The Software Engineer will analyze, design, code and test QNXT software applications in an Agile Scrum method based environment. The Software Engineer works closely with other QNXT team members such as desigers, engineers, architects, support and testers in a collabortive environment. The Software Engineer will leverage analytical skills and softeware development skills to deliver QNXT software solutions to our healthcare industry clients.
The role requires a minimum of 5 years of Software development experience in .NET platform and requires the candidate be familiar with standard development concepts, practices, and procedures necessary to build software products. The position is responsible for software design and development on the QNXT and related software systems. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in a self directed and accountable manner as well as being a strong team player. Create or improves processes which facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration. Serve as a mentor for other team members. Mentoring activities include detailed design and coding review and acts as a technical resource for troubleshooting and solving technical issues. Develop junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work.
The candidate must have exceptional technical programming experience with .NET and the MSFT stack. The candidate will take responsibility for implementing finished products leveraging knowledge of Object Oriented Programming principles, and should know how to use common design patterns. Knowledge of test driven development is desirable.The must be a collaborative, team player in an Agile Scrum oriented environment.
